Anker has reduced the price of its Soundcore Space 2 noise-canceling headphones by $23. The new cost of $106.49 is the lowest price point recorded for the product. The sale is live today, October 23, at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart, and applies to all available color options.

The Space 2 serves as the successor to the Space One, a model that reviewer John Higgins identified as a top budget option when it launched in 2023. While the new unit carries a list price $30 higher than its predecessor, the current discount narrows that gap. The upgrade focuses on audio performance and battery endurance.

Active noise cancellation represents a primary improvement in the new design. The Space 2 suppresses low-frequency sounds, such as those generated by trains and airplane engines, more effectively than the original. Soundcore also implemented design changes that result in more accurate sound reproduction.

The headphones retain several features from the previous generation that established its value. They support high-resolution LDAC audio and integrate with HearID 3.0. This tool personalizes sound by analyzing a listener's response to a series of audio samples and adjusting the output accordingly.

Battery life has increased alongside the audio upgrades. With noise cancellation enabled, the Space 2 runs for up to 50 hours, an increase from 40 hours on the earlier model. With the feature disabled, the battery lasts 70 hours, compared to 55 hours on the Space One. A 3.5mm jack allows for wired listening if the battery depletes, and the device automatically pauses playback when removed from the head.

The Verge describes the Space 2 as an easy recommendation due to these enhancements. At $106.49, the price is lower than any previous listing for the model, though it remains $30 above the original launch cost of the Space One.
