Best Buy reduced the price of the Acer Predator XB27OU by $50 on October 23, 2026. The 27-inch gaming monitor now sells for $329.99. This price point targets players who want to switch from IPS panels to OLED displays without a major expense.
The unit features a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel. It displays images at a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. This resolution, often called QHD or 2K, matches the capabilities of mid-range graphics cards. Tom's Hardware notes that these cards can handle the frame rate and resolution demands without strain.
Speed defines the monitor's performance. It refresh at 240Hz. The gray-to-gray response time measures 0.03ms. OLED technology enables this rapid reaction. The result is smooth motion that avoids the ghosting common on slower screens.
The display supports AMD FreeSync Premium. This technology synchronizes the monitor refresh rate with the frame rate generated by the game. The sync process removes screen tearing. Gamers experience a steadier image during play.
Color accuracy stands out in the QD-OLED panel. The XB27OU covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Its Delta E accuracy remains below 2. The screen also supports HDR10 and a 10-bit color standard. These features improve contrast, color depth, and brightness compared to standard dynamic range. The panel produces deep blacks and strong contrast.
Connection options include two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. Users can connect a gaming PC and multiple consoles to the same screen. The reduced price is currently available at Best Buy.
