Gamers shopping at Newegg can save $450 on a high-performance pre-built computer. The ABS Stratos II Ruby is now listed for $2,549.99, down from its standard retail price. This system combines an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card and 32GB of DDR5 memory.

ABS is Newegg's private label brand, which allows the retailer to offer these specific configurations widely. Tom's Hardware identified the Stratos II Ruby as the cheapest gaming PC with an RTX 5070 Ti currently available on Newegg's platform. The outlet predicts the discounted stock will sell out quickly.

The computer launched with a focus on high frame rates. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is an eight-core chip that utilizes AMD's 3D V-Cache technology. This design increases the L3 cache to 96MB, reducing the need for the processor to access slower system memory. That reduction in latency helps maintain steady performance during gaming sessions. While it is no longer at the absolute top of CPU benchmark charts, it remains a top-tier choice for gaming, with no Intel processor matching its specific X3D performance profile.

The graphics card is an Nvidia Blackwell model with 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. It is designed for 1440p and 4K resolution play. The card supports Nvidia's DLSS technology with multi-frame generation. Tom's Hardware notes that this setup can handle 4K gaming with ray tracing in current titles, though users may need to adjust settings in the most demanding games at that resolution.

The system includes two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB memory modules running at 6,000 MT/s. Storage is handled by a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet. The processor is cooled by a Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler.

Tom's Hardware published its analysis on October 23, 2026. The outlet described the price as strong for the current market, citing the $450 discount and the specific combination of the 9800X3D processor and RTX 5070 Ti graphics card.
