Fi is selling its Ultra satellite dog tracker for $209.30 through October 25. The price drop represents a 30 percent discount from the current list price. Customers must enter the coupon code SCARY at checkout to apply the reduction.
The promotion returns the device to its initial launch cost. The sale covers several satellite-connected models in the company's lineup. The Ultra is the primary model receiving the deepest cut in this specific promotion.
The hardware features an IP68 rating, allowing it to function in saltwater. Fi states the battery lasts up to five days for average activity levels. The unit clips to a collar or harness and uses LTE, GPS, and Starlink satellite signals. This combination allows tracking in areas without cellular service. The device can vibrate or play sounds to alert the pet.
Fi claims the Ultra is the first dog tracker to integrate T-Satellite, Starlink, GPS, and LTE. The company markets this as a solution for pets in remote locations. The physical size of the unit makes it better suited for larger dogs.
The Verge tested the tracker in a remote part of South Carolina earlier this year. The team found tracking precision to be accurate. However, location updates occurred only every two or three minutes. This interval may be too slow for fast-moving dogs. Battery life dropped to roughly two days in Lost Mode. The company notes these conditions depend heavily on the pet's activity level.
An active subscription is required for the tracking features to work. Fi offers six-month, one-year, and two-year plans. A one-year plan costs $99 for the first year and $189 for subsequent years. The service is available only in the United States. Alaska is excluded from the satellite coverage area. There is no stated end date for the subscription service once purchased.
Other discounts are available on the same platform. Amazon lists a physical copy of Kirby Air Riders for the Nintendo Switch 2 at $48.99. The JLab JBuds Talk USB-C microphone is priced at $24.99. Lego's Star Wars Grogu set is listed at $103.99.
