The eighth week of La Granja VIP’s second season reaches its conclusion on Sunday, November 1, as the audience prepares to remove the eighth contestant from the competition. The outcome of the gala is determined entirely by public voting, a mechanic that requires viewers to select which housemates they wish to save from the nominee board.

Five individuals currently occupy the nominee board for this week. The list includes Niurka Marcos, Mario “Mono” Osuna, Rafael Mercadante, Kevyn “Bicolor” Contretas, and Pablo Montero. The person who receives the fewest votes for salvation will be the final elimination of the week.

The composition of the nominee board resulted from several specific events during the eighth week. The process began with the Duelo de Nominación, a contest between one housemate chosen by the public and another selected by the Capataz. The loser of that duel became the first nominee. Subsequent nominations occurred during the Asamblea, a face-to-face gathering where housemates stated their reasons for targeting others.

Disciplinary actions also contributed to the current nominee list. Several housemates arrived at the board due to punishments for rule infractions. This method of nomination supplements the competitive dynamics of the week, ensuring that both performance and conduct influence a participant's status.

Kevyn “Bicolor” Contretas faced a specific sanction during the Huevo Dorado challenge. He made jokes and practical jokes at the station, which frustrated his fellow housemates. His actions hindered the group’s ability to secure a victory. The frustration from this event contributed to the tension leading into the final vote.

Seven housemates have already left the second season. The list of previous eliminations includes Abigail Pak “La Coreañera,” María Karunna, Carlos Trejo, Kenny Avilés, Pascal Nadaud, Pimpinela Escarlata, and Azalia Ojeda “La Negra.” Mónica Escobedo is not included in this count because she was expelled for breaking major rules of coexistence rather than being voted out.

The public will cast their votes in the coming hours to determine which of the five nominees remains in the house. The individual with the lowest number of save votes will depart the competition, continuing the pattern of weekly eliminations that has defined the second season.
