Tammy Bishop is asking for help locating a wedding ring that slipped off her husband’s finger in Las Vegas. Will Mulroy lost the band on October 20, the same night the couple married at the Viva Las Vegas Chapel.

Bishop said the pair celebrated their union on a party bus and drove along the Strip. At a bar, Mulroy looked down and realized the ring was missing. "We got to a bar. He looked down and his band was gone. He lost it. He started crying," Bishop said. She noted that Mulroy had previously told her the ring was two sizes too big because he had lost weight.

The couple backtracked their route and asked the bus driver to look, but the ring never turned up. Bishop joked the next day that he had lost it within 24 hours of wearing it. At the time, she said she did not mind and planned to buy him a new one. "I said it’s not a big deal; we will buy you a new one, but now that he is gone it is a big deal to me," she said.

Mulroy died three days after the wedding. Bishop said he was in significant pain during the trip home and mentioned going to the emergency room once they returned to South Dakota. The following morning, he was congested, so she told him to skip work. Bishop could not wake him and called 911. Doctors declared him brain dead at the hospital. He remained on life support for 24 hours, and his heart stopped three times in the emergency room.

The couple met in July 2023 and began dating in March 2024. A week after that, Mulroy was in a motorcycle accident that left him paralyzed. Bishop said he kept asking her to marry him, and she agreed this summer. On her birthday, October 4, he revealed he had booked a trip to Vegas. "It was a perfect day," Bishop said. "He was on cloud nine."

Mulroy worked at Fleet Farm and had experience with party buses. The couple had planned to start their own party bus business together. Bishop described him as mechanically inclined and hands-on. "He was very savvy, very mechanically inclined, could fix things, just that guy," she said. "He didn’t have to call other guys to get stuff done."

Bishop hopes a stranger will find the ring. "It would mean a lot. The rings were blessed, and that was our wedding ring, and that was him and how much it meant to him. That’s why it means so much to me," she said.
