Pablo Montero confronted Guillermo Kunno Olivo Pérez on Tuesday during the nomination segment of the reality show La Granja VIP. The exchange focused on Kunno's verbal choices after the content creator nominated the singer for elimination. Montero immediately challenged his peer, asking what could be said about someone who expresses themselves so vulgarly and denigratingly.
Kunno maintained that his behavior was intentional. He stated that provocation is a core part of his gameplay. The influencer argued that without this strategy, his fellow houseguests would not be engaging in the current level of debate. He insisted he came to the house to play by those rules.
Montero pressed the point, noting that Kunno interrupted him while he was speaking. The singer cited this habit as a reflection of his education, saying it is always the same with him. Kunno held his ground, repeating that he arrived to participate in the competition on his own terms.
The conflict originated from Kunno's nomination speech, which he delivered after Adal Ramones prompted him to select a nominee. Kunno criticized Montero's performance, describing his gameplay as boring and disappointing. He also claimed the singer lacked a clear strategy while simultaneously demanding respect during confrontations where he used loud words.
The content creator added specific observations about house rules. He said he noticed Montero and Julio Camejo covering or removing their microphones to talk privately. Kunno reminded the singer that the cameras and microphones in the house record all interactions, serving as a constant reminder of the rules in effect.
This confrontation followed earlier tensions between the two houseguests. During the gala on October 25, Montero expressed his desire to remove Kunno from the competition due to the way he spoke about Natalia Alcocer. Kunno had responded to those comments by saying he would demonstrate his stance through actions rather than words.
The dispute centers on the balance between competitive strategy and respectful communication within the shared living space of the show. Both participants defended their approaches to the nomination process, leaving the final decision to the public vote.
