The Philadelphia Eagles will start Tanner McKee at quarterback against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night at 8:15 p.m. ET. Jalen Hurts remains out while dealing with blood clots, and receiver DeVonta Smith has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Philadelphia also listed Saquon Barkley as questionable with a hamstring issue, though the running back is expected to play. The Cowboys are 4.5-point favorites, and the game carries a 43.5-point total.
Philadelphia's running back depth is already thin. Two of Barkley's backups are on injured reserve, which leaves the Eagles short-handed at the position heading into the division game. Dallas wideout CeeDee Lamb has been targeted 11.5 times per game, a rate that ranks second in the NFL behind Puka Nacua. He has drawn at least 18 targets in two of the last three weeks and has posted three games with at least 112 receiving yards this season.
SportsLine analyst Mike McClure said he is building his lineups around Goedert and Lamb. Goedert leads all Philadelphia pass catchers with a 49.5-yard receiving over/under, and Smith's absence removes another target from McKee's reads. Goedert has caught six passes in each of his last two games. The Eagles have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season, which is where McClure sees Lamb fitting into his roster construction.
The Cowboys and Eagles close out the Week 7 schedule with this matchup in Philadelphia. Dallas enters as a 4.5-point favorite with a 43.5-point total. The Eagles are missing Hurts from their offense, and Smith will not dress for the game. Barkley carries a questionable designation, and two of his backups are on injured reserve, which limits Philadelphia's options behind him.
McClure runs a projection model that simulates every snap and factors in matchups, statistical trends and injury reports. His career winnings exceed $2 million, including a tie for first in the DraftKings Millionaire Maker twice and a first-place finish in the FanDuel Million once. Goedert's 49.5-yard receiving over/under is the highest mark among Philadelphia pass catchers, and McKee will throw to him with Smith and Dontayvion Wicks both ruled out. The Eagles and Cowboys kick off Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET in Philadelphia.
